Meet the Doctor

I wanted to introduce you all to Dr. J. Garet Goodman! I am so proud of you Garet. Good job babe , I love you!!! He has worked so hard these past three years. He is glad to be done with school and is excited to start work on Monday. He will be working with his brother Kenny in Thatcher. Although Garet has finished school, he still won't have his licence until about August. He has taken all of his National tests but has to take a jurisprudence test in July for the state of Arizona and then he can legally start adjusting and cracking!! We are now back in Arizona, and have been here for just about a week. We are excited to be back by family but, we really miss all of our friends in Texas. We have been blessed to meet some amazing people. Being so far from home for so long, our friends really became our family. We love you all. Thanks for all you did and for all the wonderful memories. We will always cherish the time we spent in Texas.

We are now trying to move in a "casita" behind Garets parents house. It is VERY small but will be good for a while until we can find a permanent place to live. It is kinda a mess right now but I hope to make it a cozy little place for us. Garets parents have done so much work in preparing this place for us. Thanks so much!!! I'll attach some pictures of our little place once we get all settled.

Almost a Doctor

I am so proud of Garet. He has worked so hard these past three years, and now he is just about done. He has finished all of his requirements in the clinic. So now all he has to do is check out...and then he has graduation this Saturday. I can't believe how fast these past few years have been. Time really has just flown by. We are now busy packing all our things to go home, and it just seems like yesterday when we were packing to move out to Texas.
Well I really wanted to post a picture of Garet to show how handsome he looks in his clinic clothes but honestly I forgot to take it so i can make the post...we'll have to wait until next time. But I am really proud of him. He really has accomplished so much!!! I love you Garet!

Easter in Arizona

Ok. So I have tried to make a new post a couple of times but have had a hard time with internet connections. Can't wait till we move home and have our own internet!!! When I did finally get the internet.......I made a post and then on accidentally deleted it. GRRR!!! Bunch of wasted time!!
Well a couple of weeks ago Paige Garet and I ventured out to AZ. Garet drove the truck home and then Paige and I flew Home. Thanks so much Jared for coming out and visiting then making the drive with Garet. We had fun with you here!
We couldn't have gone to AZ at a better time. We got to be there for Easter, Jacobs wedding, and Karisa (my sister in law) had her baby while we were home, and so did Brandi (old roomate/Friend). It was great. Crazy to think we'll be home for good in a about 3 weeks. Well here are some pictures. Enjoy!!!

Texas Weather

The weather here is crazy. When we first moved here my co-coworkers told me, " If you don't like the weather today...just wait until tomorrow." That is so true! This week we had a great example of this. Wednesday my friend Hillary and I took the kids to the "park" and fed the ducks. It was beautiful and nice outside. Then Thursday it was freezing cold and snowed most of the day. I had to work that night and the roads were so bad from snow/ice that the hospital got the staff hotel rooms right by the hospital. Its just so crazy to me that one day you can wear shorts, and then the next you have to wear your snow clothes. TEXAS!!!

She's growing to fast!!!

Well Paige is definitely growing way to FAST!!! Here is what is new...
1.) Paige got her ears pierced. I finally did it! I have been wanting to since she was blessed but always talked myself out of it...and like I said We did it. She did such a good job and only cried a little bit. I put lidocain on her ears so she really didn't feel it, she only cried b/c of the way I was holding her. Well she looks dang cute, and I am so glad that we did it. I do think though, that it makes her look older. (here are come cute pictures to show of he ears!)
2.) Paige ROLLED OVER!!! Tummy time isn't her favorite time of the day but, she has gotten a lot better at it. Well this past week she decided that she had had enough and rolled over to her back. At first we thought it was an accident so, we had her try it again...and she did.
3.) A couple nights ago we were at some friends house and Paige started chewing on my finger and I felt a TOOTH!!! I couldn't believe it. So of course when I thought I could feel it, I had to look...and sure enough she has a little tooth coming through. The white has already broken through the gum, and you can see the one next to it starting to come through. I was so sad when I saw this. I really almost started crying, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THAT GIRL IS GROWING! She is going to look SOOO much older with teeth!

Smiles All Around

Well now that we are back in Texas, We have jumped right into the buisiness of life! I really appreciate Kara's blog that she put in this week about mothers. Being a mother is so amazing! I love every minute of it! However when we got back from Arizona I had to leave Paige and to start back to work. It was so hard to leave her at night. It may sound really silly b/c I felt like I was letting Paige down every time I left. Garet and I decided that I should go back after Paige was born so we all could stay on good health insurance (more importantly Paige and Garet.) Garet takes care of Paige the nights I have to work. As much as I am sad that I have to work I love watching the little relationship grow between the 2 of them. Garet does such a good job with taking care of Paige. He has his own special way to feed her (I pump and he gives her a bottle), He changes all the diapers and even puts her down for bed. I can already tell that Paige loves him a lot. Now that Garet can get Paige to laugh he'll sing and play with her every chance he gets. Here are some pictures that I took of him getting her to laugh. So, for all of you that may get frustrated about staying home all day....its not that great leaving your kids. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, I just love staying home more and look forward to the day where I only have to work once every other week.

Cute pictures

I just wanted to share with all you of some really cute pictures of Paige. While we were home my Uncle Flint took pictures of her. He did an awesome job. Here is the web site. Feel free to check if out!

Christmas Break

Well it has been about a month since we have updated our blog. I was going to try and do that sometime while we were in Arizona thinking I would have lots of free time to do that but, I never got around to it. This year was lots of fun b/c we got to go home for more then 5 days. We could never go longer b/c of work but since I was on maternity leave we got to go for almost 3 weeks. We had alot of fun with all our family. I know the holidays were awhile ago but I still want to share some memories with you all.
Paige and I flew out on the 18th. She did awesome on the plane ride and slept all the way from Dallas to Tucson and Tucson to Sierra Vista. We stayed a couple days with my family in Sierra Vista. While there Paige took a picture with Santa at my parents ward party. The pictures turned out so cute. Garet flew in on the 20th when his school was done and we all went to Thatcher. We went back and forth a few times between our families. We did alot of things while we were gone so...I'll fill you in on all the fun! There were pretty much 4 big events/days that took place while we were there.. here they go:
1. Christmas: It was fun having a baby this year during the holidays. Paige didn't do much but sit and look cute. However she did bring a special spirit. We spent Christmas Day in Sierra Vista. We kept up with the same traditions of Christmas Caroling to the care center (my mom's favorite thing to do during the holidays), frosting cookies and making goodies, and then eating all the goodies. Christmas Eve we had our traditional "Mexican Fiesta" with all the works and our Christmas program. Paige got to play the part of Baby Jesus, but she didn't play the part very well. She cried the entire time. Her cousin Kade played a better Jesus the previous year.
2. Blessing: The next week on the 30th.(my dads B-day) Was a special day, a highlight of or trip...Paige was blessed. We decided to bless Paige at Kenny and M'lees' house in Thatcher. (thanks so much M'lee/Kenny for all you did)We had most of my family there and and most of Garets. Paige looked so cute all dressed in white. since we did it at home we had an opening prayer, a song and then Garet blessed her. He did a good job and gave a nice blessing. I am so lucky to be Married to him. Then we had a closing prayer...and then ate the famous WEB GOODMAN TACO'S and some yummy enchiliadas Aunt Maureen made!! It was really a special day.
3. New Years: The next big event of our trip would be NEW YEARS!! We had a New Years Eve party in Sierra Vista with alot of my cousins, Aunt Jan, Uncle flint and Uncle Ron. We had a great time playing games and eating food. It was fun seeing everyone. Some people I hadn't seen for over a year. I am excited though b/c I don't have to wait that long to see them again b/c will be back in AZ for good.
4. More Blessings: The last Weekend we were home we traveled to Mesa to attend the blessings of 2 of Piages cousins. Paige has 1 cousin on the Goodman side 10 days younger then her and another that is 6 weeks younger then her. Again that was another fun get together with lots of people and lots of food.
