This is a late post but I still wanted to let everyone now our accomplishment. During the month of February we tried the whole potty training thing. The first couple days were hard. We would do really good and then we would do really bad! But we are proud to say that she has been diaper free for awhile now. We haven't had an accident in over a month!!! ....(knock on wood) Over all I think she did pretty good. I was afraid we missed our window opportunity b/c months earlier she acted like she really wanted to try. She would only wet once in a diaper and take it off, and she would always tell me when she went poop...and sometimes before she would go she would tell me. Well I was not ready to take the time then so I waited until I was ready. So here a a big YIPEE for being done with diapers. I LOVE not buying them!!!

fotosbyflint.com
At the end of March we were able to take some family pictures. I LOVED them and thought they turned out great. The only problem is...I LOVED them ALL so much I now don't know which ones I want. Well here are a few I took off his blog. (Paige fell asleep on the way there in the car. You can tell she's not happy to be awake in the first picture, but soon wakes up to be her happy, silly self.)

If you want to see more pictures follow these directions: (sorry I am not internet smart enough to have you just click on a word and have it take you directly to a website. If anyone ever wants to teach me I am all ears:) Anyways.....go to this website:

then click on online viewing at the bottom of the page; then type in goodman when it ask for password.

Easter
I really enjoyed Easter weekend! I just love this time of year. I love Spring, and the reminder it brings to us of our Savior Jesus Christ. I also enjoyed conference being on Easter. I loved listening to our prophet and the apostles bear testimony of the Gospel but especially of there testimonies of Jesus Christ.
This year Laura came down for Easter. We had a good time. Friday we decorated hard boiled eggs and frosted sugar cookies. The kids all seemed to have a fun time but I am such a kid and had just as much fun as they did if not more. Both of those activities seemed to take most of the day. Friday night we left all the kids and the adults all went out to eat. It was fun to get away and enjoy some yummy food. Saturday morning we started out the day at our own homes to watch the first session of conference. As soon as the session was over we were in the car and off to have an Easter picnic. We had some yummy food. We were planning on getting back before the next session started but we ended up staying out there for at least half the session. We could hear it on the radio. It was kinda fun to listen to it out there in the middle of no where but it was also hard because I was easily distracted from the kids playing. While on the picnic we had an Easter egg hunt. This year Paige actually got the concept of hiding and finding. It made if fun. When we got home I tried to listen to what i missed of conference and then we were off for more fun. The boys all went to the Priesthood session and the girls were off to the movies. Grandma stayed home and watched the younger kids. We watched "Last Song" it was a cute movie. I really liked it, I just didn't know that it was going to be a sad movie. I didn't prepare myself for that. :0)
After the movie we had some delicious flavorful Sanoran Hot Dogs. I honestly was a little leary of all the layers but they were really good. (For directions see post below)
Sunday Morning...Easter Morning Garet, Paige and I were home alone. Paige found her basket and loved all the fun treats inside. While listening to conference we ate our Easter breakfast....Eggs Benedict. I hope to start this as an Easter breakfast tradition it was yummy!

After the first session of conference we made our way to Kenny and M'lee's for a delicious Easter dinner full of all the works, (ham, roles, funeral potatoes, fruit salad, veggie tray, deviled eggs, and green beans.) watched the second half of conference and then had my 2 favorite deserts: strawberry pie and strawberry shortcake!
It was a really fun fun weekend. I didn't get to take a lot of pictures (hope to get them from my sister in-laws still) because my mother in-laws camera I was using (ours is still broken) battery went dead! But like I said before I loved conference, I loved Easter, I love spring and I love spending time with family. You can't get much better then that!!!!

Jucie Lucy's
- 2 hamburger patties
- LOTS cheese- any kind
- LOTS of napkins
- and whatever else you like to put on your hamburgers. ( buns, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup mustard and so on)
Take the cheese and place them between 2 raw patties and sandwich them together by pinching edges together. Place patties on grill and cook. Take off grill when hamburger cooked and make hamburger. Have napkins available when first bite is taken and be prepared for lots of juice/cheese to get all over your face!!!
Another yummy dinner to try in the Sonoran taco...also taken off of both the TV shows mentioned above. I don't have pictures of these but they are yummy! take a normal hot dog wrap it in bacon and grill it. Place hot dog in bullio bread with mustard, mayonnaise and ketchup. Place pinto beans on top of hot dog with onions, tomatoes, and guacamole. YUM YUM YUM!! Try it I dare you!!!

Spring Break
We had a great time in March. One of the great things about us finally having a house, ( no more apartments) is that we get visitors. We love having people come stay with us. We feel so blessed that we have family that comes often. In March it was the time for our "Spring Breakers." The fun started March 12 and didn't officially stop until the 27th...only to have more family come for Easter on April 1st, 4 day later. It has been non stop fun. Friday the 12th Garet and I took Kenny and M'lees car and seven other kids to Sierra Vista (Mitchell, Reed, Carson, Kylee, Jacob, Brycen and Paige) . We had a good time. My mom was very nice and let us all crash there at her house. We went to dinner when we came into town and then Garet took all the boys to the movies while Kylee, Paige and I got ready for bed. Saturday morning I drove to Bisbee to look at a piano...(yes we finally bought one...pictures to come in future post) While I was there Garet took the boys around sierra vista and of course to the mall. We then all met up at the Cove. Renee, Laura, Ashley, Kara, Braxton, Katie, Brennon, Hunter, and Jared all met us there also. We had a fun time swimming with all the cousins. We got home to Thatcher late Saturday night. Everyone had a great time. Jordan my little brother got to come home with us and spend a couple days with us. Sunday night Sam, Amy and there 5 kids came, then on Monday Esther and her 4 kids came. Sam stayed until Tuesday night and Esther stayed till Sunday. Then Monday Robyn came with her 3 kids and stayed until Thursday. Laura and Johnny and there 4 kids also came for a few days, and we of course had all the local cousins to play with also. We had a great time with all the family. Some of our activities consisted of: eating yummy yummy food, and yummy yummy deserts, playing games, visiting, playing kickball, going to the park, going on picnics, and watching good movies. We really had a great time!!!!! Here are a few pictures. We were so busy having fun I really didn't take to many pictures.
Valentines Day
Sometime when I was in middle school or high school Mom decided to start a new tradition in our family for Valentines Day. The Sunday before Valentines Day we would have our "Red Dinner" it was always so much fun. Everything was red...or everything that we could make red if it wasn't already. Well this year I decided to bring this tradition over to the Goodmans. We had a great time. We decorated the kitchen and tables and had a fun menu. Our menu consisted of: lasagna, french bread, beats, green salad with lots of RED veggies, and strawberry shortcake. It was lots of fun!!!
