She's growing to fast!!!

Well Paige is definitely growing way to FAST!!! Here is what is new...
1.) Paige got her ears pierced. I finally did it! I have been wanting to since she was blessed but always talked myself out of it...and like I said We did it. She did such a good job and only cried a little bit. I put lidocain on her ears so she really didn't feel it, she only cried b/c of the way I was holding her. Well she looks dang cute, and I am so glad that we did it. I do think though, that it makes her look older. (here are come cute pictures to show of he ears!)
2.) Paige ROLLED OVER!!! Tummy time isn't her favorite time of the day but, she has gotten a lot better at it. Well this past week she decided that she had had enough and rolled over to her back. At first we thought it was an accident so, we had her try it again...and she did.
3.) A couple nights ago we were at some friends house and Paige started chewing on my finger and I felt a TOOTH!!! I couldn't believe it. So of course when I thought I could feel it, I had to look...and sure enough she has a little tooth coming through. The white has already broken through the gum, and you can see the one next to it starting to come through. I was so sad when I saw this. I really almost started crying, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THAT GIRL IS GROWING! She is going to look SOOO much older with teeth!

Smiles All Around

Well now that we are back in Texas, We have jumped right into the buisiness of life! I really appreciate Kara's blog that she put in this week about mothers. Being a mother is so amazing! I love every minute of it! However when we got back from Arizona I had to leave Paige and to start back to work. It was so hard to leave her at night. It may sound really silly b/c I felt like I was letting Paige down every time I left. Garet and I decided that I should go back after Paige was born so we all could stay on good health insurance (more importantly Paige and Garet.) Garet takes care of Paige the nights I have to work. As much as I am sad that I have to work I love watching the little relationship grow between the 2 of them. Garet does such a good job with taking care of Paige. He has his own special way to feed her (I pump and he gives her a bottle), He changes all the diapers and even puts her down for bed. I can already tell that Paige loves him a lot. Now that Garet can get Paige to laugh he'll sing and play with her every chance he gets. Here are some pictures that I took of him getting her to laugh. So, for all of you that may get frustrated about staying home all day....its not that great leaving your kids. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, I just love staying home more and look forward to the day where I only have to work once every other week.

Cute pictures

I just wanted to share with all you of some really cute pictures of Paige. While we were home my Uncle Flint took pictures of her. He did an awesome job. Here is the web site. Feel free to check if out!

Christmas Break

Well it has been about a month since we have updated our blog. I was going to try and do that sometime while we were in Arizona thinking I would have lots of free time to do that but, I never got around to it. This year was lots of fun b/c we got to go home for more then 5 days. We could never go longer b/c of work but since I was on maternity leave we got to go for almost 3 weeks. We had alot of fun with all our family. I know the holidays were awhile ago but I still want to share some memories with you all.
Paige and I flew out on the 18th. She did awesome on the plane ride and slept all the way from Dallas to Tucson and Tucson to Sierra Vista. We stayed a couple days with my family in Sierra Vista. While there Paige took a picture with Santa at my parents ward party. The pictures turned out so cute. Garet flew in on the 20th when his school was done and we all went to Thatcher. We went back and forth a few times between our families. We did alot of things while we were gone so...I'll fill you in on all the fun! There were pretty much 4 big events/days that took place while we were there.. here they go:
1. Christmas: It was fun having a baby this year during the holidays. Paige didn't do much but sit and look cute. However she did bring a special spirit. We spent Christmas Day in Sierra Vista. We kept up with the same traditions of Christmas Caroling to the care center (my mom's favorite thing to do during the holidays), frosting cookies and making goodies, and then eating all the goodies. Christmas Eve we had our traditional "Mexican Fiesta" with all the works and our Christmas program. Paige got to play the part of Baby Jesus, but she didn't play the part very well. She cried the entire time. Her cousin Kade played a better Jesus the previous year.
2. Blessing: The next week on the 30th.(my dads B-day) Was a special day, a highlight of or trip...Paige was blessed. We decided to bless Paige at Kenny and M'lees' house in Thatcher. (thanks so much M'lee/Kenny for all you did)We had most of my family there and and most of Garets. Paige looked so cute all dressed in white. since we did it at home we had an opening prayer, a song and then Garet blessed her. He did a good job and gave a nice blessing. I am so lucky to be Married to him. Then we had a closing prayer...and then ate the famous WEB GOODMAN TACO'S and some yummy enchiliadas Aunt Maureen made!! It was really a special day.
3. New Years: The next big event of our trip would be NEW YEARS!! We had a New Years Eve party in Sierra Vista with alot of my cousins, Aunt Jan, Uncle flint and Uncle Ron. We had a great time playing games and eating food. It was fun seeing everyone. Some people I hadn't seen for over a year. I am excited though b/c I don't have to wait that long to see them again b/c will be back in AZ for good.
4. More Blessings: The last Weekend we were home we traveled to Mesa to attend the blessings of 2 of Piages cousins. Paige has 1 cousin on the Goodman side 10 days younger then her and another that is 6 weeks younger then her. Again that was another fun get together with lots of people and lots of food.

Ginger Bread Houses

It is a tradition to make gingerbread houses. This year we had a couple friend over and it was fun. As you can see they are decorating the houses and sweet little Paige decided to be not so sweet so I am feeding her in the corner and of course Garet is playing guitar hero. He is obsessed. All in all it was fun and all the house were cute.

Pictures

We needed some pictures for our Christmas card so we had a friend take some pictures for us. She did a great job and set up a little background for us. Paige looked so cute in her little outfits.

Thanksgiving

This Year was the first in three years that we have been able to go home for Thanksgiving. We drove with our friends and stayed for three days and then drove back to Dallas. The ride there was good, Paige is such a good little traveler. We spent thanksgiving dinner with Amanda's family it was lots of fun. Garet went golfing with the boys while the girls got dinner ready. Then the girls made gingerbread houses while the boys watched the ASU game. The next day was a reunion with Garet's family. We got to see cousins that we had not seen for a long time. There was a special program for Garet's grandma, she is 93. Saturday we just relaxed and Sunday we drove home. We left at 5:30 am and got to Dallas at 10:30. It was forever we hit a snow storm for 3 hours and then construction for another 2. Paige was an angel. We had so many pictures that we had to put 2 slide shows. We are thankful for Thanksgiving!

Garet had Part 4 National Boards so Allison and Kade came and stayed with us to keep me company. We had lots of fun. We went out to dinner and did lots of shopping and most of all we just relaxed and I had tons of sisterly fun. Thanks Allie and Kade for coming to Dallas to visit.
